My good friend Marie-Christine and her husband, Oliver, have decided to purchase a home and renovate it to their taste. I'm talking about gutting out the floors, bringing up walls, changing the bathroom's floor to ceiling, 80's ceramic tiles and painting for-ever. Did I mention that the house is typically Canadian: OAK CENTRAL. On the floors. On the baseboards. In the kitchen. On the window panes. They, mostly she, will be making sure no more oak is visible in the home. I will be showcasing their before and afters within the next few weeks, as they finish up the work.
Here are a few glimpse's into Marie's ideas of her entryway which gives directly to the staircase. She's going to paint the stairs black and white and add a runner. We've shopped for persian rug runners but have yet to find the one.
