Bretagne: Sophie C

I fell in love with the creations of Sophie C last year, when Jo and Laurence brought us goodies from their daughters store. Her concept is simple, she developed a drawing of a Bigouden (the traditional costume in Brittany) . She added lots of colour and gave it a modern edge. The look is amazing.

I knew I had to get to this store last year when they talked about all the things she made, so you can imagine how happy I was when I walked in her store when we were in Brittany.  Her store was a design'a'holics dream.  Cups, tea towels, bowls were just the beginning. Thank god for Thierry who capped me at a reasonable budget and reminded me that some of goodies I wanted couldn't possibly fit in our suitcases.

Nonetheless, I still managed to came home with an espresso set, a set of jumbo mugs, tea towels, some prints, and an uber cute apron, for the days I want to play the role of the 1950's housewife. ;)

  1. Oh my goodness, I need your help. I am Au Pairing in France, and one of my little French boys received a bowl from his Aunt of Sophie C's. I broke it today, and am trying to order a replacement. Do you have any contact information at all!? It would be greatly appreciated!!
