NYC Bachelorette

I just a wonderful weekend celebrating my friend Janie's bachelorette, who will be getting married in a few weeks. We took the bride to be to NYC to have a weekend extravaganza which included poolside drinks, dares on Times Square, and a drag queen show at Lucky Cheng's. I have to admit that this was one of the highlights of our weekend, especially when Janie was forced on stage, giving us quite a hilarious show. I can't unfortunately go in details about our shenanigans since we made a vow of silence, and also because I don't want to be tortured or torture anyone since I'm a lady. All I can say is that it could possibly be rated PG-13, maybe 17.

{The bride-to-be having way too much fun}

We stayed at the Thompson LES, in the Lower East Side, which was killer since it had an outdoor pool. Yes, you heard right, this NYC hotel has a pool, so you can imagine that we fried like bacon and loved every minute of it. We lounged all morning until the early afternoon before heading back to the room to have games, dance contests and photography shoots before heading out to the madness that New York has to offer.

Of course, Marie and I went for an early morning run for Starbucks coffee and stopped at Konditori, adorable coffee shop for my first New York bagel.

We had an amazing weekend and hopefully our next bachelorette is as good as this one.
