Chicken Handi

I love Indian cuisine. And over the weekend I had a crazing for Indian food. I decided to try out a recipe at home and I was surprised how easy and delicious this was.

{ It tastes a lot better than it looks. Trust me}

What you'll need:

1 kg of chicken breasts, cubed
6 tomatoes
1 onion
1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
2 tbs of coriander, finely chopped
1/4 of canola oil
Salt and Pepper, to taste
1 tbs of ginger, grated
1 garlic clove, grated
1 tbs of ground coriander
1 tbs of red chili powder
1 tsp of paprika
1/2 tsp of turmeric
1/2 tsp of cumin
1/2 tsp of garam masala
1/4 cup of heavy cream
1. Mix the yogurt and all the spices together. Cover the chicken and let marinate for 30 minutes. Boil the onion in 1/2 cup of water for 5 minutes. Blend the tomatoes and the onion with the boiled water.
2. In a deep pan, heat the oil and cook the garlic and ginger. Add the chicken with the marinate and cook for 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and the onion and simmer for 30 minutes.
3. Pour in the cream and let simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve with rice and/or naan bread.

Bon appétit!
