Apple Crisp

Every fall I love to make apple crisp. It's the perfect comfort food because it's warm, sweet, and can be topped with ice cream. I've tried a lot of recipes and this one has to be the one that Thierry and I dig the most.

What you'll need:
10 McIntosh apples, peeled, cored ,and thinly sliced
1 cup of sugar
1tbs of flour
1 tsp of cinnamon
1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg
2 tbs spoons of lemon juice

1 cup of granola
1 cup of flour
1 cup of brown sugar
1/4 tsp of baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup of butter, melted

1. Heat oven at 350 degrees.
2. Place apples in 9x13 baking dish. Add white sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Mix until all the apples are well covered with the mix.
3. In a bowl mix together the granola, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Add the melted butter. Add the crumble over the apples.
4. Bake for 45minutes.

Bon appétit!
